Areias do Mar is a company that has been dedicated to maritime tourism since the summer of 2010. Based in Vila Nova de Milfontes, in the municipality of Odemira, our company focuses all its activities on the River Mira and the beaches at its mouth. Areias do Mar aims to showcase the natural beauty surrounding the Mira River and its entire surrounding area in a fun and relaxed way, guaranteeing its customers the quality and safety necessary for everyone to fully enjoy all the services offered.
Vila Nova de Milfontes has always been chosen for its unique natural beauty and microclimate. Located in the Southeast Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, it enjoys 3,000 hours of sunshine per year, minimal rainfall, and is situated on the Mira River estuary. This location is one of the best places in Portugal for water sports.
